Grading explained

One scale across every bike we sell, so you can compare like with like.

A

Original or correct

Original paint and parts or period correct replacements. Light wear only. Ready to ride or display.

B

Honest wear

Sound and fully serviced with visible cosmetic wear. Some period correct part swaps, all listed.

C

Rideable project

Solid frame with obvious wear or mixed parts. Priced to leave room for you to finish it your way.

What we look at

Before a bike is graded we go over it from end to end: the frame, the paint, the decals, the groupset, the wheels and the serial number. We keep a library of original Cannondale catalogues and check every bike against the right year before it is sold.

How we show you what you're buying

Every bike is listed on eBay with the same core set of photos. The whole bike comes first, from four angles, followed by close-ups of the details, the serial number and the main marks or wear we've spotted.

Each eBay listing has the full details and condition notes for that bike. If you'd like more photos or have a question, just ask.
